The Open Circuit (OC) feature gives you the option of taking voltage measurements with the current shut off. The time interval for this momentary (milli-Seconds) period can be adjusted and allows you to take voltage measurements that are unnaffected by the current flow. This allows for a voltage reading unaffected by the resistance from test leads and the battery's internal resistance.

Also from this panel you can manage how pulses are applied and specify the test current used for the internal resistance tests.
