Programmable Charger / Tester (PCT)

The PCT's are designed to be programmed using PCTWin software to create a standalone battery testing tool that does not need to be connected to a host computer. With PCTWin you have the ability to write your own bp3 files and load them into the PCT. These bp3 files contain detailed instructions that direct the operation of the PCT. You can write powerful routines to take advantage of the onboard resources the PCT offers.

Description

These analyzers can be programmed by the user to create a custom test routine. Once programmed they operate in a stand alone mode and do not require a computer connection. The internal 64K memory offers a programmable tester that can be programmed to perform a wide range of simple or complex testing functions.....

The internal processor creates an operating system that provides unprecedented level of capabilities. This can be an analyzing system or powerful working tool.

PCT programs are files that you write using the PCTWin software. These files are saved as bp3 files and then loaded into the PCT as required.

The 40 W Modules (PCT2020 & PCT1020) have the added feature of being able to run BA400WIN.

The 20W open board module only runs PCTWIN.

Stand Alone PCT Features

  • Fully programmable LED Function Indicators
  • Programmable internal alarm sound
  • Program a series of steps to execute the desired routine. Your routine can include loops, GoTo statements, conditional routing statements and a variety of other capabilities similar to a structured computer program.
  • Think of the PCT as a battery tester with a built in operating system, just like your PC.

  • Select either a Charge, Discharge or Pause function for each step
  • Specify Ireg values for constant current discharging
  • Specify Ireg for constant current charging
  • Specify Ireg and Vreg values for constant voltage charging with a current limit.
  • Choose from a large selection of termination options for any charge, discharge or pause function.
  • While the PCT is running in stand alone mode you can still connect the PCT(s) to a computer to view a console to display & print operational information.
