PCTWIN is also used to simply open a bp3 file for loading into the PCT. If you already have the bp3 file then you just need to open the file and load it into the PCT. You may have a previously created PCT file, downloaded it from the internet or received it from another user.

You can keep a collection of bp3 files for different battery types, applications or special functions. Since the PCT can manage all battery types you will have a tool that is flexible and universal, with a wide array of features you will not find in other battery testing products.

The bp3 program listing can be printed for record keeping, analysis and for planning how you want to edit & structure your program. The print out lists all the termination and conditional routing statements, for each step, so you can evaluate your IF statements and GOTO logic. You can create simple charging, discharge & testing routines or build a complex program that will test for many different situations and act accordingly.
